There, you will be provided with an up-to-date model bike, safety helmet, bike lock, front handlebar bag, rear gear pack and a map showing popular bike routes of the San Francisco area including Sausalito, Tiburon, Marin Headlands, Muir Woods and Golden Gate Park. All you have to do is inform the helpful staff, when you pick up your bike, where you would like to go and how far you want to bike and they will provide you with a bicycle that is comfortable for the ride and give you tips on where the best sightseeing attractions are along the way.

Ride across the Golden Gate Bridge towards Vista Point and check out the magnificent views of San Francisco and Alcatraz Island. Continue to Sausalito and enjoy a delicious ice-cream on the waterfront. Feel free to lock your bike up at the ferry terminal and walk around the small town of Sausalito, browsing the souvenir shops and enjoying the variety of art galleries that Sausalito has to offer.

Pick up your bike whenever you want and it is yours for a full 24 hours. Bike across the Golden Gate Bridge towards Sausalito or Muir Woods. Alternatively you could stay in San Francisco and bike through Golden Gate Park, stopping at the Japanese Tea Gardens, Conservatory of Flowers, the de Young Museum or the Academy of Sciences. Go all the way over to Baker Beach and Cliff House and enjoy the spectacular sunset.

Vehicle Safety Inspection: Safety is paramount in our industry and one of the biggest safety components in the tours we provide are our vehicles. Extranomical's fleet includes vans and mini-buses. Our vehicles are inspected constantly; first in the morning when the tour guide begins his/her day; second throughout the day the tour guide is verifying fluid levels, tire pressure and the general operation of the vehicle is monitored throughout the day. The vehicles are also inspected regularly (at least every 10,000) miles by our vehicle maintenance staff and also by independent certified mechanics during their routine maintenance. If that were not all, we also go through a thorough inspection performed by the California Highway Patrol once a year.
Tour Guide Training & Substance Abuse Testing: Our tour guides are extensively trained on both safety driving techniques and on providing an informative and interesting tour. Before being hired, we test our guides on safety driving in realistic situations around San Francisco they are also tested through an oral presentation of the material they will present to make sure that they provide a safe, knowledgeable and interesting tour.
