• Is one day enough to see Yosemite?

  Yes, one day is enough to see some of Yosemite’s top attractions, including Half Dome, El Capitan, Yosemite Falls, and the Tuolumne Grove of Giant Sequoias. If you want to spend more time in the park, consider one of our overnight tours from San Francisco.

• How long is the tour?

  Our private San Francisco tour to Yosemite is a full-day experience, typically lasting around 14–15 hours. Pickup is early in the morning and drop-off is in the evening, depending on traffic and your customized itinerary.

• What’s included in the private tour?

  Your tour includes door-to-door transportation, a private vehicle and driver-guide, guide gratuity, water, park entrance fees, and plenty of time to explore Yosemite’s highlights such as Yosemite Valley, Tunnel View, El Capitan, Bridalveil Fall, and Half Dome.

  Snacks and meals are not included unless otherwise arranged.

• Do we have a say in the itinerary?

  Yes! One of the best parts of a private tour is flexibility. You can let us know if you’d like to focus on photography, short hikes, or scenic stops, and whether you want to cram it all in or take a more relaxed pace. We’ll work with you to create the ideal day!

• Can we see the Giant Sequoias on this tour?

  Yes, you can see Giant Sequoias on this tour, but only in the spring and summer. In winter, the trail is covered in snow and inaccessible. If you’d like to include a visit to Tuolumne Grove, just let us know in advance. Please note it involves a moderate 2.5-mile roundtrip hike, so comfortable shoes are recommended.

• What type of vehicle is used on the private tour?

  We use comfortable, air-conditioned vans or a luxury bus (up to 35 passengers), depending on your group size. All vehicles are clean, well-maintained, and ideal for long-distance travel.

• What should we bring on a day trip to Yosemite?

  The weather in Yosemite can vary, so we recommend bringing:

  • Layers to adjust as necessary throughout the day
  • Comfortable walking shoes
  • Sunscreen and sunglasses
  • Snacks (we’ll provide water)
  • Camera or smartphone for photos

• Do you offer this tour in different languages?

  Our private Yosemite tour has live narration in English, but we offer complimentary recorded audio guides in 8 additional languages: Spanish, French, German, Italian, Korean, Mandarin, Japanese, and Portuguese. If an audio guide is required, please specify the language when booking.

• Do you offer hotel pickup in San Francisco?

  Yes, we offer complimentary hotel pickup and drop-off from hotels in San Francisco. If you’re staying outside the city, we’ll coordinate the best meeting point for you.

• Are meals included? Can I buy or bring my own?

  No, meals are not included on this tour. We’ll make a stop about halfway between San Francisco and Yosemite, where you can buy food and beverages. There are several restaurants and a food court in Yosemite Valley. They are usually crowded, so it’s a good idea to bring or purchase a picnic lunch prior to arriving in the park

• What is your cancellation policy?

  You can cancel up to 7 days in advance for a full refund. Cancellations made within 7 days of the trip are non-refundable; however, we can offer you a tour credit for future travel with us.

• Is this tour suitable for children or seniors?

  Absolutely! This tour is great for families, couples, and multi-generational groups. Since it’s a private tour, we can adjust the pace and stops based on your group’s preferences and needs.
