This is for the Yosemite Two-Day tour only - no accommodations are provided. For independent travelers or campers, the tour includes San Francisco Hotel pick-up, transportation to Yosemite National Park, Yosemite Valley Tour and drop off at Yosemite Lodge, where you gain your independence, for 24 hours. Make your own overnight arrangements, or reserve a campsite. (Tour vehicle has limited space for luggage, so try to keep it small!)
The next day, meet another tour group at the same time and place, and finish the day with them and return to San Francisco.
Overnight Yosemite National Park tours are a great way to spend time doing activities that our guided 1-day tours don’t have time for, such as rafting down the Merced river, or taking some longer hikes, or bicycling around Yosemite Valley, all at your own leisure. In winter, some locations are inaccessible, but the scenery is completely different – the Valley itself is a winter waterfall wonderland, and there are times when you might feel you have the place to yourself.* DURING WINTER MONTHS *
Winter clothes, especially shoes or boots with rubber soles and treads, are recommended.
We will always do what we can to make your trip enjoyable, but safety is “Job 1”, so the route and itinerary may be changed due to snow depth, road conditions, construction projects and detours.
Note: The Giant Sequoias hike on the Yosemite Tour is dependent on snow levels and trail conditions from October to April.

Lodge, and spend the morning in Yosemite on your own.
This is a good day to do one or 2 short hikes, like
Mirror Lake or Lower Yosemite Falls. Grab a lunch,

Un-check your bags and
meet your new friends and new driver. Explore more
of Yosemite with the group. This includes driving time
to take an optional hike in the forest and see the
Giant Sequoias. (May be omitted due to snow levels
and trail conditions from October to April – we’ll
spend more time in the Valley instead.) |

Start the return trip,
descending from the Sierras, with more great scenery
as we follow the sun to the west. |
