Hi there,
Just wanted to let you know that it was a amazing time at your Muir Woods & Wine Country Tour. The Muir Woods at the beginnging of the tour was a great start in the day. It is really breathtaking to take a walk through those gigantic high trees.
The winetasting part of the tour was wonderful as well. The first winery the group went to was Cline. They offered a great variety of californien wines. After a first delightful winetasting the driver brought is to Sonoma City for lunch. A very beautiful town with small adorable boutiques, restaurants and of course a lot wine stores. The next winery the group were visiting was Homewood. I enjoyed the atmosphere where I have gained so much knowledge about californian wines. It is a really small winery which makes it even more comfortable. The last winetasting stop was at Larson. All I can say is very very nice. They even have a half zoo there with a lama, goats and horses. It was a great experience.
Last but not least thank you to Charles, the tour guide, for making the day so enjoyable. His knowledge about californian history, Sonoma, Sausalito and the wineries was great and really added to the experience. And also his insider information about what restaurant is really worth going to came in handy. On the way back to San Francisco Charles threw in an additional stop in Sausalito. A couple of people of the group decided to take the ferry back to San Francisco. The rest of the group continued on and made a stop at the Golden Gate Bridge before going back to thehotel. That was a great opportunity to take a few more pictures. To sum up the entire day was so much fun and I loved being part of a small group.

- Muir Woods and Wine Country Tour
Just wanted to say that my husband and I had a fantastic time on the Muir Woods / Sonoma tour on 9/15/07. The woods are a beautiful place to visit and I just wish we would have had more time to spend there. However the visits to the wineries were also brilliant and we both learned a lot, as well as sampling some delicious wines. We had a fantastic guide in Frank, who went out of his way to show us some of the sites of San Francisco and also to give us a lot of information about the history of the city and what we were seeing. Lunch at the Cheese Factory was an excellent choice, and overall we couldn't fault any of the trip. I hope we get the chance to return to SF one day and we would certainly recommend Extranomical.

My husband and I took your Muir Woods and Wine Tour last Wednesday and our tour guide was Frank. We just wanted to let you know that we had a wonderful time and that Frank was an exceptional tour guide. We were his first 'pick-up' that morning and he gave us facts and information about all the areas we passed through on our way to pick up the other tourists. He was very knowledgeable and entertaining. I think we were very lucky to have Frank be our guide for that day. I hope you are lucky enough to have other guides as wonderful as he was. GREAT TIME....we will definitely use Extranomical again in the future........and hopefully we will get Frank as our guide!

My wife and I met four new friends this week on your Redwood & Wine Country tour. It was made possible by your decision to use a passenger van rather than a large tour bus. The van made for a more intimate experience, and it gave our guide Roman, who I must say was fantastic, the flexibility to make several unscheduled stops from the tour. This would not have been possible if we were with one of those other large tour groups. Roman's connections with some of the smaller wineries allowed for a more private affair for our wine tasting, and their wine selections also were better.
After watching the sun set on the Pacific our group, laden down with purchases of the day, decided to eat dinner together. Not to be burden with caring our wine and other tourist items Roman stopped at each of our hotels to allow us to dispense with our loot and proceeded to take us to our restaurant in Chinatown. I have not been on a tour which this was possible. Extranomical, keep up the good work and don't stray from this business model of small private tours. My wife and I got more than our money's worth.

We experienced the Wine Tour last Saturday and loved it. Rodrigo was a great guide and very informative. We loved the informal atmosphere of this tour compared to the "big bus" tours we went on a few days earlier. The best part was that it combined the Muir Woods and Sausalito which was not available in other tour companies.
We would highly recommend this tour to our friends.

We just got back from our first ever trip to San Francisco. We went on the all day Muir Woods/Sonoma trip on Friday, July 1st, and "Ralph" was our guide. He did an excellent job, and was very knowledgeable, especially about all of the history of the area.
When he dropped us off at the hotel, I realized the second the van pulled away that I had not tipped him, and had meant to do so because of the great extra effort he gave as our guide. What would be the best way for me to see that he gets the tip he deserved, and that it came from us? Please advise, and thanks again for a great outing.

We wanted to tell you what an excellent tour guide we had for our Muir Woods - Wine Country tour with Ralph Johnson. Ralph's knowledge of all aspects and locations was amazing. Even though it was a rainy, dark day, Ralph made it a delight. He should be commended for being an outstanding guide. Just wanted to thank you for a lovely day out on January 12th with our trusty guide Jack to the Sonoma and Napa Valleys. Even though our original trip was to both Muir Woods and the Wine Country, you were kind enough to give us the all day tour through the Valleys instead, which indeed was fortunate for us! We were with a wonderful group of 5 Australians who made it a real fun day. Thanks to Jack's in depth research he was very informative on the four wineries that resulted in a very personal wine tasting with the owners and growers of the wines.

I was a guest on your Muir Woods and Wine Country tour two weeks ago and I feel compelled to write this letter to tell you what a wonderful experience that was. That was a day well spent!
The Muir Woods were absolutely breathtaking. I am so glad you make that part of your tour. Someday I hope to return there to spend an entire day on those trails.
I also very much respect and commend your decision to tour "family-owned" wineries. I learned so much at the Larson and Loxton wineries. I was so impressed that I have decided to become a wine club member at both.
Last but certainly not least, I cannot possibly say enough good things about Jack. He was simply amazing! His knowledge was so impressive and his storytelling riveting! I hope you never let this man retire. :)

I would like to commend our tour guide Adam for an exceptional trip this weekend. He did an outstanding job taking us to some smaller wineries that offered excellent service. Unbeknownst to Adam, I took advantage of one of the beautiful places we stopped to propose to my new fiancé.

Max our driver was excellent...he know his way around Napa Valley. We enjoyed the smaller vineyard that buses aren't able go to. It is the only way to go and visit the vineyards without the big crowds. Would use your company again. Thank for a wonderful time.
