The tour guide Cristine was so sweet and really good, she knows a lot about wine and she was sharing with us all her knowledge during the tour. Really great guide! She is amazing.

Awesome tour if you have limited time.
Kimberly was fantastic. Safe driver, fun, and strict about schedule on time. The weather was perfect which made everything much more enjoyable. The 3 wineries were very different from each other. First: Kieu Hoan, was beautiful (great for pictures) and the winners were REALLY good as well. Second: MAYO, was VERY informative lots of chemistry involved and the characteristics of wine and wine making process, not as appealing to the eye or pictures. Third: Trek, was different and fun, good information on wine process. THE LUNCH was a bit rushed, and MUIR WOODS was also a bit rushed, but is was absolutely beautiful (probs for getting us there before all the crowd) Overall, great tour if you have limited time in San Fran area and you don’t have a car. (Quick stop at Golden Gate Bridge at end of tour for a photo).

I will definitely use them again!

We used Extranomical Tours several times in Hawaii. They were always on time and both the drivers and the guides treated us like family--calling us cousins. They were funny, knowledgeable, attentive, accommodating and treated us professionally. I imagine that if you do this day in and day out, it's hard to make the trip fresh; but they did for us with each ride/tour, making jokes and doling out tidbits of information as we rode around. We were very impressed.
– Krista S. on 03/22/2018

my tour guide Anthony what an awesome guide and humor.
– Shruti S. on 03/15/2018
You have to do this tour - 100%! Our guide Anthony was AMAZING and very entertaining. It was a great day that started off with about an hour and fifteen minutes at the Muir Woods - Anthony even told us how far to go in the trail so we would make it back in time before the buss left. Next, we went to a smaller winery in Sonoma, which, in my opinion, had the best wines, but wine is wine :) Then we did lunch and went to two more wineries after lunch. The drive to the wineries from Muir Woods took some time, but with Anthony time flew by, and it hardly felt like 30 minutes! 10/10 would recommend to others.
– Robin O. on 03/15/2018
Must do tour

We were unable to make our original reservation due to travel issues and they allowed us to sign up for a different date during our trip! The pick up was right on time by our lovely guide, Anthony. He was super funny, knowledgeable, and speedy :) The Muir Woods were beautiful, but chilly. Bring a jacket! Each winery had something special about it- the flavors, the views, the organization, the people, etc. I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants a fun filled day with lovely views :)

One of the highlights of my trip to San Francisco
I enjoyed every second of this wonderful tour. Our driver and guide, Ben, was friendly, informative and fun. He somehow managed to keep our large group on schedule. The Muir Woods were beautiful and an hour was ample time for a leisurely stroll and a few photos. We visited 3 lovely wineries, each with generous servings of a wide variety of tasty wines. The scenic drive through both the Napa and Sonoma valleys were so relaxing. Lunch in Sonoma was a highlight. I loved the gourmet sandwich and salad at the Sunflower Cafe. I highly recommend this tour!

Not to miss!
What a perfect way to get a taste of Sonoma! The Muir Woods and Golden Gate Bridge overlook stops were icing on the cake. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect day that was the right balance of activity and relaxation. I have no complaints about this trip. 1. Our tour guide was informative and funny; 2. We had undisturbed time in Muir Woods before the hoards of people showed up; 3. The three wineries we visited were excellent and had wonderful wine; 4. The wine pairing lunch (we added on) was excellent and it was nice not having to worry about picking a spot to eat. 5. The views of the golden gate bridge and the bay were incredible. It was picture perfect. I would take the same tour again the next time I visit San Francisco

Muir Woods with Kim
Kim was a great guide. She provided interesting information, was funny, friendly and helpful. I would recommend this early morning tour, as the ease of stopping by the Golden Gate bridge without the crowds was a great photo opportunity. We also arrived at the woods before 9 and were able to get in free. Tip - there are some great photo opportunities during the drive up and down the valley to the woods. Worth the cost for the ease and convenience.

Fantastic tour of Muir Woods and 3 wineries
Driver is knowledgeable and provides e,cellent info regarding all aspects of tour. We could not have been happier with our tour. Loved Muir Woods, And each of the 3 wineries was excellent. I especially enjoyed Mayo Family Winery. Although a small facility the wines were superb and the hostess was great. But really having such an excellent professional guide from Extranomical made the day. Many thanks for an excellent experience.
– Todd P. on 11/08/2017
Muir Woods was amazing
Muir Woods was amazing! Our tour guide was on time, and she shared a lot of history. Great experience!
– Creed M. on 11/03/2016
Tour guide excellent! Very informative with history and wine.
– Amanda D. on 11/02/2016
I was pleasantly surprised and impressed at how wonderful of a day this was! The day was a little rough at first, since it was raining the tour bus was a little late to pick up. But once we were on board, the fun did not stop! Roman was an absolute riot, and kept us laughing all day. In addition, he had so much knowledge about the areas that we toured, and I really learned a lot of California history. The whole day was simply wonderful and I would highly recommend it to anyone with a day to kill in the San Fransisco area!
– Heidi G. on 11/01/2016
A great day!
– Christine S. on 10/28/2016
I had a great time! The day was full of interesting information and fun stops. My only recommendation is that we could have hit another winery in the afternoon. The stops were unnecessarily long and at most of them, the group was ready long before we actually left.
– Dennis C. on 10/28/2016
Cool tour but thought it was a guided walking tour through woods.
– Kurt B. on 10/23/2016
– Elizabeth O. on 10/20/2016
Overall, a very good experience. We did a lot in a short amount of time, but our tour guide never made us feel rushed. I think that the tasting rooms related to the size of the group was a bit off. Some people parked themselves at the counter and sampled a lot of wine, while others were pushed to the back and did not get to sample as much. I know you can't control people, but it would be nice if those at the wineries tried to cater better to everyone's needs or have additional staff.
– EMILY C. on 10/17/2016
Paul was pleasant, funny and knowledgeable. We had a blast!
– Bob M. on 10/12/2016
Elsa and I thought Steve was awesome!! He was kind, courteous and extremely knowledgeable. He was very professional, humorous and made our day extra special. We would highly recommend your tours going forward because of Steve. He was fabulous. We visit San Francisco annually and We can't wait to tour with him again. Please tell him we said hello.

Roman was an absolute riot and very knowledgable. Most enjoyable.
– Wence C. on 09/30/2016
Booked the Muir Woods and wine country tour two weeks before. Called and confirmed the tour and pickup location and time. The pickup was a five minute walk from our hotel at Fisherman's Wharf. Picked up right on time in a nice bus which comfortably carried the 20 plus people. Anthony did a great job narrating and making suggestions/tips. Thank goodness for the nice A/C in the bus as it was hot during the whole day especially in wine country. My wife and I really enjoyed the Muir Woods stop...a little more time would have been nice but the winery stops and lunch timed out perfectly. Glad I did not book the lunch upgrade as there were many places to eat at the Sonoma lunch stop. Recommend the Sonoma Cheese Factory and their excellent sandwiches. They are large and one would have been plenty for both of us. The winery stops were excellent as were the hosts and wines in the tasting rooms. Beautiful country and this part of the tour was enjoyed. Ran into backed up traffic a couple of times but only delayed our return by about 20 minutes. Thanks for the great music Anthony...you had everybody singing along.
Would highly recommend this tour.
– Wendy G. on 09/29/2016
I loved Muir woods. Roman was great. I found the wineries a bit boring.
– Steve F. on 09/23/2016
Bloody excellent trip. Best ever tour guide
– Jonell P. on 09/22/2016
Very enjoyable tour. Just enough time at the different stops to see what the location had to offer. Tour guide very entertaining and helpful.
– Hector S. on 09/18/2016
Lars was an amazing tour guide. We truly enjoyed ourselves. It was a good set up to the rest of the night.
– Diane P. on 09/15/2016
Talk about exceeding expectations ! Roman was knowledgeable, charming, and really, really funny. Muir Woods, of course, was gorgeous, and awe-inspiring.

– Chris P. on 09/07/2016
Great tour of the woods. First winery was nice but second winery, it almost seemed like we surprised them when we showed up (Tin Barn). Third winery was beautiful. Picked up and brought back on time. Wish the stop to view the bridge on the way back was a better view.
– Paige W. on 07/24/2016
Anthony was such a great tour guide! He was very knowledgable about every location and while driving gave us many facts about the city and surrounding area. On our way to the Redwoods he stopped at the Golden Gate Bridge so we could get pictures. He got us to Muir Woods early enough that he saved us the $10 entrance fee! We were able to spend time on our own in the park and then we made our way to wine country. He knew everyone at the wineries and gave us tips on how to have the best experience at each location. We had a wonderful day!
– Samantha T. on 07/22/2016
Anthony was a great tour guide! Knows a lot and was fun and friendly. Muir Woods was beautiful but I wish the time there was longer. My husband and I are explorers and love nature, so I guess a tour with time restrictions wasn't the best idea, but the hour-ish we had was good. Going to the Napa Valley area was good. All of the wineries were good. Mayo and Cline were good. Madonna was alright. If I have friends visiting the area, I would recommend them to use this tour as it was a great experience!
– Amy E. on 07/17/2016
Roman was very funny. We had a clear day and he took us all over to get great views of the Golden Gate bridge.
– Betty A. on 07/16/2016
Steve was a great narrator for a guy from Boston. He entertained us with details as we drove from San Francisco to Muir woods.
– Ken M. on 07/13/2016
We had an absolute blast with Extranomical tours. We ended up doing three tours with Phil, our guide. Phil was AWESOME!
Phil got us into the Muir woods park early, and we avoided the huge crush of people. He was super helpful.
He went out of his way to find the primo spot for Golden Gate Bridge pictures. We even saw whales swimming under the bridge!
Phil's utmost concern is to provide a really phenomenal experience. Would highly recommend Extranomical!
– Carl B. on 07/12/2016
Roman was great he kept us interested the whole trip.
– Edward T. on 07/08/2016
Muir Woods was very relaxing, although always watching the time.
Wine tasting experience: Mayo - the wine connoisseur was not that entertaining, but wine was okay. Madonna Estate - the wine connoisseur was very good, she walked us through the wine tasting process, of how to enjoy and savor the wine. The wine in the estate was superb. Cline - not so entertaining, and we were not shown the winery.
Our tour leader Curt was very knowledgeable in the various aspects of the places we visited. Very kind and entertaining. Thank you.
– Karen M. on 07/08/2016
Phil was great. He's got a great sense of humor, knowledge of the areas, tips and tricks relative to time and saving money! He was FUN!
– Jackie M. on 06/16/2016
– Patricia J. on 06/15/2016
We had the opportunity to meet some really great people because the tour was smaller and intimate. Our driver was fun and very interactive with us.
– Marilyn C. on 06/05/2016
Muir Woods was beautiful and would have preferred a little more time there. However, there were lots of wineries to visit and Anthony managed to ensure we visited all of them. Anthony was very knowledgeable and pleasant plus as a treat he provided us with a spectacular view on our return to San Francisco. Our Hotel, the Argonaut, was unable to book a Woods and Wine tour for us so thank you very much Extranomical.
– Jayne G. on 06/04/2016
We had a great day and our tour guide was very friendly and helpful. The trees were amazing and Steve told loads of stuff about them!
– Ariana H. on 06/03/2016

Anthony was very entertaining and made the trip very enjoyable I would ride with him anytime.my wife and I did enjoy the stops and the ride, thank you.
– Colleen M. on 05/31/2016
Roman made the tour memorable. He was knowledgeable, funny and was a skilled driver. We loved the morning visit to Muir Woods. It was great to beat the crowds. The wineries were inconsistent. At Mayo, the host shared some information along with the sales pitch. It was a good, quick stop. It was great to visit the square in Sonoma for lunch. We went to the Bistro Grille as recommended by our guide and while the service was slow, the food was delicious. We stopped at the Mission and walked through the tree filled park. Our stop at Cline's was the most successful. The wine was delicious and the hosts took time to discuss the varieties of grape and the wine making process. It was fun to sit back and relax on their giant wrap around porch. We should have stayed on the bus during the Madonna winery stop. We were stuffed into the tasting room there with a shrill, high pitched vocal fry host who started hard selling the 'special' wine opener seconds upon arrival. There was minimal wine education here. Thank goodness we finished the tour with Cline's. It was lovely to stop to take in the panoramic Golden Gate bridge view on the way back to the city. Many thanks again to Roman for navigating all the holiday weekend traffic and keeping the day moving.
– Robert K. on 05/27/2016
Would have preferred more time to explore the redwoods and less time at the small wineries.
– Michele G. on 05/26/2016
Loved the tour of Muir Woods and 3 wineries
– Arielle A. on 05/17/2016
Overall, our tour was very good. Our leader, Paul, was excellent. He was very knowledgable and funny. The only reason I did not give this tour a five is that I felt that we did not have enough time as I would have hoped at each vineyard. The Muir Woods were also beautiful. We spent about an hour there, which was the perfect amount.
– Sandra L. on 05/16/2016
It was a wonderful experience. Curt was informative, full of knowledge and very nice. I took the tour with my mom and she absolutely loved it. So worth it!

Our tour guide was hillarius. Made the day completely! Well.... the Muir Woods was spectacular as well. And the wine was ok. :)
– Linda R. on 04/21/2016
Muir Woods was absolutely stunning! Phil, our driver, was able to get us to Muir before park opened to public crowds which meant - free admission and peaceful meandering in the woods. The accompanying wine tour was well orchestrated with 3 wineries both in Napa and Sonoma. Mid-day lunch in Sonomoa was perfect- lots of good recommendations from Phil! Overall, excellent value for the money- small tour van was comfortable and have I noted that Phil added wonderful color commentary, music and fun to the full day's events! Will definitely use Extanomical for future trips!
– Patrick C. on 04/19/2016
Everything was awesome and very informative. Anthony was a great tour guide. We would definitely use your company again.
– Jolene M. on 04/06/2016
This tour was amazing and worth every penny! Anthony was the best tour guide. He made me laugh a lot which I hadn't done in awhile. I came on this trip as a distraction because I am dealing with the loss of my son. I had a really good time. Muir Woods was cleansing and amazingly beautiful. Anthony got us there before the big crowds and before the $10 park entrance fee. Wine tasting was wonderful. All 3 wineries were great, but we especially liked Mayo and Cline Cellars. Thank you for providing a lovely distraction to my grief. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone looking to spend a day outside of San Francisco.
– Marina D. on 03/15/2016
despite the weather, it was a very nice and educational trip
– Barbara T. on 03/12/2016
This was a wonderful experience and we really enjoyed Pam. She was a very safe driver and entertaining and informative. It would have been great to have had a little more time at Muir Woods. I would probably have picked up a little souvenir in the gift shop if I would have had an extra 15 minutes. I think we got off schedule because there were so many groups to pick up. Also, the tastings and lunch were a bit hurried, but I wouldn't want to miss any of the stops, so really no solution except having smaller tour groups. I also thought we might get to stand on GG instead of observing from overlook point. Overall, a grand tour. No regrets.
– Mike R. on 02/20/2016
We had a great time! Anthony was our guide, and everyone loved him. This trip was the hi-light of our San Francisco excursion. Muir Woods is beautiful!
– Tina s. on 02/15/2016
The perfect combo at a great price. We stayed in fishermans wharf, which was the perfect location to get around. We did not rent a car, I don't know how people drive on those hills, but we wanted to go to Muir Woods and wine country for some tastings. This was a great combo. Muir Woods for about and hour to walk around and see the giant redwoods and then 3 different small wineries. Stopped for lunch in between and right before heading back over the golden gate we turned off to go up to a viewing peek. The pictures don't do it justice. Such a great day. Our guide was funny and friendly and a great driver around those hills.
– Jenny L. on 02/09/2016
It was a great day out with a perfectly paced tour. This was largely due to our tour guide Anthony, being very informative with had a great sense of humour. I would recommend Extranomical tours to anyone, especially if Anthony was the tour leader.
– Julia V. on 02/02/2016
Phil was absolutely fantastic. He was a great tour guide, plus had a lot of local knowledge and insight into the city that made the rest of our stay better than if we had not done our Extranomical tour. I can't recommend him enough, he went above and beyond!
– carl j. on 01/31/2016

ROMAN WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND ENTERTAINING. IT WAS OBVIOUS HE ENJOYED HIS JOB AND CARED ABOUT THE PEOPLE ON HIS TOUR. HE MADE THE TOUR A GOOD VALUE AND A VERY PLEASANT DAY.
– Tom N. on 10/14/2015
We had taken the City Tour on Tuesday and had Phil as our tour guide. We enjoyed his knowledge of San Francisco and his humor during the afternoon. We were pleasantly surprised to find he was also our tour guide to Muir Woods and the wineries. Could not have asked for a better day or tour guide. Would highly recommend this company to anyone. We were picked up exactly on time if not a few minutes early both days. Everyone felt very comfortable and had a great time during the day, even though our van was packed!
– Keval P. on 10/12/2015
The our was really fun. Starting the tour with a small hike in Muir woods was a great start to the morning. The choose of wineries was a bit odd. Mayo and Cline were great, however taking us to Madonna was a bit odd considering the tour guide knew that it was not a good spot.
– Dennis W. on 09/23/2015
Great guide with plenty of time at each stop.
– Sheila M. on 09/22/2015
Roman was highly entertaining & engaging throughout the tour. The wineries weren't really to our tastes but he certainly made up for it. All in all, an enjoyable experience.
– Melissa B. on 09/13/2015
Very good tour. The guide was very knowledgable and had a great personality. He never idled during the drive. He always was giving us history on all of the areas as we drove by. Thanks for a great day.

– Leo J. on 08/11/2015
Our German guide had a great sense of humor and he was informed as well.
– Brandon M. on 07/17/2015
We ended up using Extranomical tours because another tour company canceled half of our Wine/Muir woods tour the day before we were supposed to go due to road closures and we are very happy they canceled. Anthony was great! He navigated us through the road closure the other company apparently couldn't do. He made the trip very pleasurable and would recommend Extarnomical for this tour over their competition. Thanks for the fun day!
– Colleen B. on 07/16/2015
Hello, tour guide more informative about the wine tour then the actual wineries. First winery not bad, the last when Kline very good but the second wine, I believe Madona, was a waste of time. Not a very informative about the wines just wanted to sell something. It was like we were an inconvience to have us there. This seemed like the overall impression of most people on the tour. The man did not have a very pleasant personality at all. Kline excellent, very pleasant!! Should skip the Madona one, wines were not very good either. Most people bought from Kline.
– Vicki S. on 07/06/2015
I would definitely recommend Extranomical Tours. The trip to Muir Woods and Sonoma/Napa Valley was great! Our tour guide, Andy was superb! I would have liked a little more time to explore the woods but otherwise excellent!
– carol d. on 06/28/2015
Anthony was an awesome guide and the tour was perfect. Muir woods, Napa and Sonoma all in one day! The entire day was wonderful. Cannot wait to go on another tour with Extranomical! Thank you!
– Angela R. on 05/28/2015
I am so glad my husband and I selected this tour while visiting San Francisco. Everything about it was fantastic! The bus was nice, the people on board were friendly and Ben, our guide, made it fun, interesting and informative. The Muir Woods and Wine tour are a wonderful combination for a full day of nature and wines. I do wish, however, we would have more time at the last winery (it was THE BEST of the 3 we saw) and it seemed we were rushed...we had ample time at the other 2 but due to traffic our time was cut short at the last stop. Also, the Sonoma Visitors Center was a lovely surprise! We enjoyed lunch in the park and a nice stroll through the historic/beautiful shops.
– Leslie K. on 05/18/2015
Great tour. Anthony seemed very knowledgeable about the area. This is my second time taking this tour. I learned different things from each tour.
– Jason M. on 05/17/2015

Hi! This is what I posted on Trip Advisor: Netting it out: Great trip! Great guide. Excellent service. Do it! For those who like detail: My wife and I bought the Extranomical Muir Woods expedition trip for an afternoon trip on a Sunday in March. We had no prior experience with Extranomical but read the reviews on Trip Advisor which seemed mostly positive. Extranomical told us up front that the Sunday PM trip to Muir Woods wasn’t the most popular and the trip could be cancelled since the minimum was four people (made sense). They said they would work with us to get on another tour if that was the case. Even though we didn’t meet the minimum, Extranomical went ahead with the trip anyway which we didn’t expect but very much appreciated. We took the ferry to Sausalito (included in the trip price) and our guide picked us up right on time, exactly where they told us he would be. The tour guide, Phil was incredible. He was able to provide a little history along the short drive to Muir Woods and he included a few bonus stops at key scenic points for pictures. Saying Muir Woods was beautiful would be an massive understatement. What amazing, unique trees in a serene, well-preserved forest. Overall, we had a great experience with Extranomical tours and would highly recommend them to anyone. From a service and product standpoint, I believe we got more than we paid for. A few tips: When you get your e-mail confirmation from Extranomical, make sure it is accurate. The first confirmation we received said we were being picked up at the hotel but our particular afternoon trip picks up in Sausalito. A short phone call remedied this issue. Also, I confirmed the reservation about five days before (which I did with every tour). They had us on the books as planned, no problem. I also called one more time the day before just to make sure the trip was still on. If you take the trip departing from Sausalito, make sure you plan the ferry ride appropriately to get there before your departure time to Muir Woods. We took the 9:45am ferry to Sausalito, arriving at 10:45 for a 2pm departure to Muir. This gave us enough time to look around Sausalito and have an unrushed lunch at the Trident (great lunch!). Muir Woods has a paved path so no hiking shoes needed. There are dirt paths if you want to see less people. Extranomical advertises the longest time in Muir Woods comparted to other tours (one of the reasons we chose them). From the time we left the vehicle, we had about 1 hour and 45 minutes actually in the park. It could have been about 15 min longer but our tour guide included a couple bonus stops because my wife was a photographer. In our opinion, 1 hour and 45 minutes was enough to enjoy the beautiful Red Woods but I can see how people could easily spend a half day there, especially if you like to hike.
– Anna V. on 02/18/2015
It was more than a tour! It was an intellectual enrichment!
My daughter, who is 13 years old, was so impressed with all the information Genna gave to us!
The park is so beautiful!
– John G. on 01/27/2015
Phil arrived early which gave us the opportunity to arrive at the park before everyone else. He was very friendly and informative. He possessed a lot of knowledge of the area which made the tour fun and informative. Phil is a true asset to your co. I also sent comments for Ben who took us on a tour of Yosemite on 1-9-15. I hope you received it. He also was great.

The Muir Woods/Wine Country tour was fantastic. Roman, our guide, had us all laughing from beginning to end. He made the tour extra special. Anybody who visits San Francisco needs to put this tour at the top of their To Do list.
– Euna H. on 11/02/2014
Roman was so funny and he was so eager to bit other tour buses which is good for us to avoid packs of tour people^^ . he knows lots historical stories to tell in bus and was amazing he could narrate all the time when he was driving.

Nick was the perfect guide for this tour. Didn't talk too much or too little just right. Was really helpful pointing out the good restaurants in Sonoma. This tour was the best day of our week in San Francisco.
– Elaine B. on 09/26/2014
Excellent tour, but a little disappointed we could not get into Nappa. Traffic was bad, so I realize it was not Ramon's fault. Not enough time to enjoy Sonoma in the town.
Loved Muir Woods

Tour was great. Wish we'd been able to spend more time in Muir Woods.
– Suzanne M. on 09/03/2014

We had a great time. Muir Woods is pleasantly quiet in the early morning, and a great way to start the day. We enjoyed visiting both small and larger wineries. Our guide Andy was the best, interesting AND fun.

I have been on tours where the tour guide spends most of the bus ride talking and giving facts. This could have made it a more full experience. Overall good use of time though, and we saw the things I wanted to. Great tour!
– Jacqueline R. on 07/23/2014
Arriving at Muir Woods before it opened really added to our experience. It was also very nice to be the only group at the small wineries we visited, so our group received personal attention.
– Jeff B. on 07/12/2014
Muir Woods and Sonoma/Napa wine tours were great. Tour guide (Roman) was awesome-- hilarious and informative! Bus seats were a bit dirty and bus was bumpy, a/c was loud at back of bus and couldn't hear Roman while a/c was running -- which was too bad because he was great.
– Mattias S. on 06/30/2014
We had a really great day at the woods and wine tour. Very good guide, Nick, who knew a lot of San Fran history with some good jokes aswell :) we can truly recommend this trip, the woods are amazing, Sonoma and Napa valley offer great wines and all in one day! You will it regret going in this one :) once again thanks for a great day! :)
– Sohini B. on 06/27/2014
The tour driver Paul was very good explaining all the time and keep us updated with his expertise about the history of visits.Enjoyed very much and will introduce to friends.
– Anu M. on 06/24/2014
Everything we expected and fantastic spots to take photos visited in addition.
– David R. on 06/14/2014
I did the two day tour with Andy as my first driver and Leo as the driver on the second day. Andy did a super job. I enjoyed his knowledge and enthusiasm. I would definitely take another tour with him. The overnight stay in Sonoma was perfect for me. It's a really nice place to stay and see the sights. The restaurants in Sonoma are really great. The second day was also very enjoyable except for one thing. A couple with a baby took four seats and this relegated me to a seat between two other couples. I feel that because I was also a paying customer I should have had a better seat by a window. The driver Leo is a fun guy to ride with and really made the trip enjoyable. All in all, I would recommend Extranomical.
– David R. on 06/09/2014
Tour was great. Was paced just about right for us. Roman was great and we couldn't be happier with the tour. Really liked Muir woods, lunch at Sonoma, the Madonna winery, the side trip through Sausalito, and Marin Headlands. Mayo winery was ...well ok. The Cline grounds were beautiful, but the wine not so much. Definitely coming back to you for the Yosemite tour next time we are out this way.

We really enjoyed the tour. My only note (which is why I did 4 stars instead of 5, although I'd say 4.5 stars) was that it would have been nice to have a tad more time at the Sonoma Square for lunch and a tad less time at the wineries. Once the tastings were over, we just sat around, but felt rushed at lunch. But, everything was great. We never found ourselves stuck in crowds. When we got to Muir Woods, we walked right in and when we left, the line for admission was really long. Hotel pick up & drop off was a piece of cake, price was right, and this tour made it so we didn't have to get a rental car. And, may I say, that our tour guide, Paul, was UNBELIEVABLE. Give that guy a HUGE raise!!!! He was fun, friendly and incredibly knowledgeable of the places we went and the city in general. We felt like we hit the jackpot having him as our guide for the day!

Had a great time visiting Muir Woods and the Wine Country. Wish we would have had a little more time exploring but all that means is I need to go back!! Roman was a fantastic tour driver, very knowledgeable and kept us entertained. I would highly recommend a tour with him!!!

This was a perfect tour for us. My husband could not walk a lot so the Muir Woods stop worked very well. The wine tour was excellent and I can not say enough good things about our tour guide. He was informative and so interesting at the same time. He also was the most considerate and polite driver...so helpful in many ways. Our hats off to him for making this one of the highlights of our San Francisco trip.

Tour guide Andy was wonderful. He provided lots of interesting information between stops at Muir Woods and the wineries. He was very entertaining and made sure the group was having a good time. I like that our tour went to Muir Woods early in the day before the crowds showed up.

Tour guide was very knowledgeable. Kept the ride interesting with a variety of facts and jokes. Wineries we visited were great. Loved that we saw boutique wineries and not big ones. Muir woods was awesome. Would have loved more time there.

The stops were spaced out appropriately and we were given enough time at each destination. The first wine stop at Jacuzzi was a great spot and the wine hostess was very informative.
