Let the expedition begin! We start our day off right with a convenient pick up from your hotel. Your Bay in a Day San Francisco and Muir Woods tour begins by exploring the city’s legendary waterfront, learning the stories of the Embarcadero, Levi’s Plaza and Fisherman's Wharf. We’ll even take a brief coffee break at the Ferry Building. Can you spot the wild cherry-headed parrots? Got your bucket list handy? Check off “crossing the Golden Gate Bridge”.

We’ll arrive at Muir Woods National Monument while the fog is still shrouding the trees. Step out and stretch your legs. There are lots of trial options—we recommend the one that along Shadowy Redwood creek all the way to Bridge #4. Along the trails we will see 250-foot-tall Coastal Redwood trees! Awesome! The trails vary in length, some so long they extend into the other national parks. Don’t take them or you’ll miss the rest of the tour!

Once you’ve had your fill of Muir Woods, we’ll load up and head for the charming sea-side community of Sausalito. You’ll have about an hour to take in the dramatic views of San Francisco’s skyline, shop for souvenirs and have a little lunch.

Re-board our vehicle and make our way back to begin your “city insider's" tour! We'll visit North Beach, an historic Italian neighborhood. So Cool! While there, we’ll point out Lombard Street, Coit Tower, Washington Square and more.

Next, we’ll visit the Palace of Fine Arts. That’s one gorgeous building! And the main event—a trip across the Golden Gate Bridge! Selfies galore!

On this tour, you’ll next see the City’s rugged coastline. Pause to enjoy cliff-side views of “city by the bay”. Be blown away by the beauty of Golden Gate Park.

Our San Francisco one-day tour will take you through the culturally rich neighborhoods of San Francisco! You’ll learn about what made the Haight-Ashbury, Mission and Castro districts what they are and why they’re important to so many. Take a slow drive through Chinatown and Nob Hill (some say, “Snob Hill” Ha!). Laugh out loud at the surprising, sometimes crazy, things that have made San Francisco one of the world’s most beloved cities. Don't just take a tour. Have yourself an Extranomical day!

Here, at the epicenter for the Summer of Love you may want to weave a couple of daisies into your hair or make the universal sign for peace!
