Our brand new fleet of Segway i2's with lean-steer technology are the best way to zip around San Francisco's pedestrian only-zones and because they're electric, they're environmentally friendly too!
Our Segway Tour San Francisco starts with a training session so that customers can learn the skills required to maneuver a Segway like the pro's. Learning to ride a Segway is a bit like learning to ride a bike, it's intuitive, but nobody is born knowing how to operate it. After our 40 - 45 minute training session, we'll be ready to set off and explore San Francisco.
Our Segway tour San Francisco will begin by driving around the Municipal Pier and Aquatic Park. As you take in the magnificent views, your informative guide will fill you in on the fascinating history of this area. Throughout the tour we will also pass San Francisco's famous Hyde St. Cable Car turn-around and the home of delicious San Francisco chocolate, Ghirardelli Square. Get behind the scenes of Fisherman's Wharf's fishing industry and zip down Fish Alley. If time permits we will do a loop of North Beach, nicknamed 'Little Italy' by locals, home to some of the best San Francisco restaurants, before heading back to our departure point.

Tours depart from the parking lot at the rear of 757 Beach Street. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to departure time.

Duration: 2 Hrs, 45 mins (including 40-45 minute training)

Allow approximately 2 hours 45 minutes for the tour. Before we set off, guests will need a 40-45 minute training session to learn to operate the Segway. Once training is completed, guests will be given a tour of Fisherman's Wharf, including Aquatic Park, Ghirardelli Square, the National Maritime Museum, the famous Hyde Street Cable car turnaround. Time Permitting, guests can also enjoy a loop around North Beach's Little Italy before returning to our departure point.

- Vehicle Safety Inspection
- Safety is paramount in our industry and one of the biggest safety components in the tours we provide are our vehicles. Extranomical's fleet includes vans and mini-buses. Our vehicles are inspected constantly; first in the morning when the tour guide begins his/her day; second throughout the day the tour guide is verifying fluid levels, tire pressure and the general operation of the vehicle is monitored throughout the day. The vehicles are also inspected regularly (at least every 10,000) miles by our vehicle maintenance staff and also by independent certified mechanics during their routine maintenance. If that were not all, we also go through a thorough inspection performed by the California Highway Patrol once a year.
