Every year the town of Napa organizes a community Fourth of July Festival with live entertainment, children's activities, a parade and fireworks display. This year the parade will begin at 2:00 pm at Second and School Streets. The parade marches east on Second Street to Main Street and returns on First Street. Spectator stands are located on the Dwight Murray Plaza and offer a great viewing of the city parade.
The Napa Fourth of July party will begin on the corner of Main Street and Third Street at 4:00 pm at Veteran’s Plaza. Musicians from the Napa School of Music will perform on stage on Brown Street from 4:00-6:30 pm and children's activities are located nearby. The main stage is located at Veteran’s Plaza and entertainment will begin at 4:00 pm with Dennis Johnson and the Mississippi Ramblers followed at 6:30 pm by Alvon Johnson and his All Star Band.
Travis Aif Force Base and the Mayor of Napa will give a presentation at 7:30 pm and fireworks begin at dusk. Food and beverage vendors from local Napa restuarants and wineries will also be onhand selling their goods.
