Celebrate Zookeeper Appreciation Week in San Francisco

The San Francisco Zoo is celebrating zookeeper appreciation week July 19th thru 25th and all zoo patrons are encouraged to attend. During the week zoo keepers will be on hand at various exhibits to speak with zoo visitors. Zoo keepers will answer questions and tell stories about the zoo animals they care for every day.

The San Francisco Zoo is encouraging all of its guests to show their appreciation by bringing a hand-made or purchased thank you card, which will be placed on a large display board at the zoo’s front entrance. During the week a discount will be given off admission to visitors presenting a card, $2.00 for an adult and $1.00 for children. Zoo hours are Monday thru Friday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and the San Francisco Zoo.
