As mid summer descends upon Northern California, San Francisco prepares for the food event of the year. This year’s SF Chefs 2010 will be held August 9th thru 15th, 2010 in Union Square. The main tasting event will be located in the middle of Union Square where chefs, wine makers and distillers will feature local products.

SF Chefs will also include seminars, lectures and classes organized by local farmers, winemakers, authors, culinary experts and chefs. There will also be a Top Chef Happy Hour featuring a food face off between well known local chefs. SF Chefs 2010 will support the Golden Gate Restaurant Association Scholarship Foundation which grants financial scholarships to students from the Bay Area entering culinary and hospitality programs.
