This tour could be the first or the second part of your day in San Francisco. All of our tours regularly pick up from San Francisco. If you book a Private or Charter tour, we are able to pick you up in San Jose (between 6:00-7:00AM) if it is the first part of your day, or we can pick you up in Fisherman's Wharf if it is your second part where you have already enjoyed the marvelous sightseeing of this exciting City!
This tour is semi private in a 13 passenger seat van, which will allow you all the comfort that you need to enjoy this tour! You will spend up to two hours inside Muir Woods, where you can walk under the shadow of these amazing trees and do a little hike. This tour also includes an optional stop at the Golden Gate Bridge or in the small town of Sausalito. At the end of this expedition you will be dropped off in Fisherman's Wharf, San Francisco and still have a whole afternoon in this incredible city! Our San Francisco Muir Woods Expedition is a fully narrated semi private tour. This is the Muir Woods tour that spends the most time in the forest! Around two hours you'll spend gazing up into the forest's canopy. Hike or walk while admiring some of the tallest redwood trees in the world. Our San Francisco Muir Woods Expedition also includes an optional stop at the Golden Gate Bridge or Sausalito! At the end of this tour, we will drop you back off at your San Francisco Hotel or you can opt to take a ferry from Sausalito to Fisherman's Wharf.

- Vehicle Safety Inspection
- Safety is paramount in our industry and one of the biggest safety components in the tours we provide are our vehicles. Extranomical's fleet includes vans and mini-buses. Our vehicles are inspected constantly; first in the morning when the tour guide begins his/her day; second throughout the day the tour guide is verifying fluid levels, tire pressure and the general operation of the vehicle is monitored throughout the day. The vehicles are also inspected regularly (at least every 10,000) miles by our vehicle maintenance staff and also by independent certified mechanics during their routine maintenance. If that were not all, we also go through a thorough inspection performed by the California Highway Patrol once a year.
