This tour could be the first or the second part of your day in San Francisco. You will be picked up between 6:00-7:00AM if it is the first part of your day or picked up in Fisherman's Wharf if it is your second part of the day where you have already enjoyed the marvelous sightseeing of this exciting City! Please note that all of tours regularly pick up from San Francisco. We can arrange a pick up from San Jose if it is a Private or Charter tour.
Your half day trip will first give you the chance to walk, relax or even hike in the Muir Woods. You can choose between the different hiking trails that the park offers. But the most amazing thing in this park, are definitely the Redwoods Sequoias. They are the tallest trees in the world and the most incredible trees you have ever seen! If you are visiting the park during September or October you might even get to see Salmon attempting to jump up stream.
The first part of the tour will be spent in the Muir Woods (about an hour) before heading to the charming little city of Sausalito. There you will have time to admire the view over San Francisco or walk around the shops, the art galleries or the ice creameries. The tour will end after crossing the Golden Gate Bridge on the way back to San Francisco.

- Vehicle Safety Inspection
- Safety is paramount in our industry and one of the biggest safety components in the tours we provide are our vehicles. Extranomical's fleet includes vans and mini-buses. Our vehicles are inspected constantly; first in the morning when the tour guide begins his/her day; second throughout the day the tour guide is verifying fluid levels, tire pressure and the general operation of the vehicle is monitored throughout the day. The vehicles are also inspected regularly (at least every 10,000) miles by our vehicle maintenance staff and also by independent certified mechanics during their routine maintenance. If that were not all, we also go through a thorough inspection performed by the California Highway Patrol once a year.
