November 11, 2009 is Veteran's Day and all National Parks will waive entrance fees for the holiday. In past years all U.S. veterans were given free admittance in observance of the holiday but this year all citizens will be admitted to National Parks for free. Although park tourists will still need to pay standard fees for camping, permits and other activities parks such as Yosemite National Park will waive the $20.00 entrance fee which will save visitor's quite a bit of money.
