Located in the heart of Napa Valley, St. Supery is a family owned estate winery well known for it's award winning Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon as well as many other flavorful blends. St. Supery wines are gown on two Napa Valley estates and encompass over 500 acres of premium wine country. St. Supery prides itself in it's sustainability of the winery and the care each bottle is given. There are no outside influences that detract from the varietals at St. Supery because all growth, production and storage are done on location to ensure that each wine is of supreme quality. The philosophy at St. Supery is that vines thrive if allowed room to grow, so the vineyard has set aside 1000 acres of bare land which serves as a sort of 'park' for wildlife and nature. Along with the growing process is the fertilization of the land. A bio product of the wine making process called pomace, which is the end product of the crush is used to fertilize the growing vines. All process are closely monitor and kept in house in order to ensure high quality wines.
A wine country visitor can take advantage of all the responsible procedures St. Supery practices by participating in a behind the scenes tour of the winery. A St. Supery staff member will allow each visitor to explore the wine cellar in order to learn first hand the entire wine making process from growing to bottling. This unique experience also includes an educational talk about the growing practices and a view of the vineyard where the practices are enforced. Each tour concludes with a barrel tasting and comparison of the estate grown reds. This unique experience is one that all wine enthusiast will want to take advantage of.
