This holiday season presents a great opportunity to purchase gifts for any wine enthusiast. Holiday bargains can be found everywhere because of the recession and Napa Valley is definitely one of those places. Many wine grape producers found the task of selling their harvest incredibly difficult this year and this is reflected in the shelf prices of many varietals.

For the bargain hunter this poses a great opportunity to purchase top shelf bottles for bargain basement prices. Many Napa and Sonoma Valley wineries are offering special sampler cases which include several varieties of wine for a flat case price. Although wine enthusiasts are relishing in the lower than average wine prices this year most wine industry analysts have predicted that prices will begin to rise soon so make sure to take advantage of this year's holiday bargain season.
