Next weekend, Saturday December 6th, 2008, from 2pm - 7pm, the Napa Valley annual Holiday Tour and Taste event takes place, with the area's bed and breakfasts and inns opening their doors, providing tours, food, live music entertainment and of course, plenty of local wines as well as holiday decorations and festive cheer. All of this and the shuttle transportation between the B&Bs and Inns is included in the $55 ticket price. Those tickets can be purchased in advance online at www.NapaHolidayTour.com Many of the Napa Valley merchants will be offering discounts and VIP offers to ticket event holders. The event organizers anticipate that the event will sell out in advance of the event, so online ticket purchases are recommended. A portion of the event's proceeds will be donated to support the work of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
Participating B&Bs: at the Beazley House, Candlelight Inn, Cedar Gables Inn, Churchill Manor, Hennessey House, Hillview Country Guesthouse, Inn on First, Inn on Randolph, McClelland-Priest B&B Inn, Napa Inn, and the Old World Inn. owners and innkeepers will on hand to greet guests, guide tours and answer questions
Participating Wineries: Ahnfeldt Wines, Artesa, Baldacci, Black Stallion Winery, Bleaux Magnolia, Bouchaine, Caymus, , Dutch Henry, Folio, Frank Family, Hess Collection Winery, Madonna Estate Winery, Miner Family, Mumm, Reynolds Family Winery, Robert Biale Winery, Robert Mondavi, Peju Province, Rombauer and Jessup Cellars, V Sattui Winey, and Van Der Heyden Vineyards
Catering Participants: Allegria, Anettes Chocolates, Bayleaf Restaurant, Downtown Joe's, The English Garden Tea Room, Fillipi's Italian Restaurant, La Toque, Pearl, Piccolino's, Ristorante, Uva Trattoria Italiana, Zinsvalley will be supplying the food and drink, and also their associated chefs will be stationed at the locales to offer any insights of interest.
Entertainment: Jim Mavis and Johnny Smith, the Napa High Choral Quartet, Rick Esser, and Tarrabini's Jazz Quintet.
