Napa Valley Celebrates Gay Pride

Napa Valley's LGBTQ community will celebrate Gay Pride with several performances, readings, concerts and events beginning June 12th and commencing June 20th, 2010.  This celebration is open to the gay and straight community and benefits the LGBTQ Pride Organization of Napa Valley as well as several nonprofit organizations supported by the LGBTQ community of Napa. This nine day event has become an annual wine country celebration attended by many locals and tourists alike.

Beginning June 12th the Gay Pride Celebration kicks-off with a 9-hole golf tournament at 4:00 pm and a 21 and under dance from 7:00 pm to 11:30 pm. Following the first day of the Napa Valley Gay Pride Celebration is a family picnic at Fuller Park in Napa, a Pride Night at the Chef's Market where food and wine tasting will take place, youth night at the movies at Napa Valley College with a 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm showing of the Rocky Horror Picture Show and a Mama Mia! sing-a-long at the Cameo Cinema in St. Helena.
