Sonoma County, the heart of wine country, will be hosting the 2nd annual wine blogging conference in July. Professional and novice wine bloggers from all over the world will meet to discuss blogging technology and techniques, the craft and legalities of wine blogging and the impact of social media on the wine blogging profession. The three day conference will also include wine tastings, sightseeing trips into the heart of Napa County and journeys into "speed blogging."
The conference will be held July 24-26 and is expected to host over 250 wine bloggers as well as members of the wine industry interested in understanding the marketing and educational potential of wine blogging. There will be several keynote speakers addressing the audience at the conference. A few of the speakers include Barry Schuler, former Chairman and CEO of AOL, and Jim Gordon, editor of Wines and Vines Magazine, current director of investment firm Draper, Fisher, Jurvetson and owner of Meteor Vineyards in Napa Valley.
