19th Annual Zinfandel Festival

Thursday, January 28th is the beginning of a three day Zinfandel Festival celebrating America's heritage wine- Zinfandel. The festival begins at the Herbst Pavilion, Fort Mason Center in San Francisco. This first event, Good Eats and Zinfandel Pairing, is an epicureans dream. Noteworthy restaurants paired with award winning wines fill the evening with flavor and excitement. The Good Eats and Zinfandel Pairing begins at 6:00 pm and commences at 9:00 pm and tickets are sold in advance.

An evening with the winemakers is scheduled for Friday, January 29th from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Attendees will have a chance to speak with local winemakers regarding topics such as Zinfandel trends and wine blending. The premiere event concluding this festival is the Grand Zinfandel Tasting, which will be held Saturday, January 29th from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Herbst Festival Pavilion, Fort Mason Center. The Grand Zinfandel Tasting will include approximately 250 wineries, a silent auction and appetizers. Airport shuttle transfers and Alcatraz Tours are non-refundable. Cancellations and changes are subject to a 10% or $25 fee, whichever is greater.
