The Treasure Island Music Festival will kick off a two day concert series which can be enjoyed on Treasure Island in the middle of the San Francisco Bay. This year's event is chock full of exciting performances by some of the most well known bands in the world. The festival will also play host to a plethora of gourmet food vendors and local Bay Area merchandise companies selling everything from rockin' baby clothes to specialty dog apparel. One section of the local vendor area will be dedicated to San Francisco's very own Mission Indie Mart which supports local, emerging artists and fashion designers.

There will be multiple performances on multiple stages throughout the festival and a few of the headliners are MGMT, the Flaming Lips, Yo La Tengo and the Decemberists. The festival gates open on October 17th and 18th at 11:00 am and the first act takes the stage at noon. There is a complimentary shuttle from AT&T Park with the purchase of a one-day, two-day or VIP ticket as well as free parking.
