The 34th Annual Union Street Festival will take place on June 5th and 6th from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. The Union Street Festival is one of San Francisco's most popular summer festivals located on Union Street between Gough and Steiner Streets. Union Street is a fashionable part of the city where historic Victorians have been transformed into boutiques, art galleries and restaurants. The Union Street Festival echoes the style of the neighborhood with it's arts and crafts booths, gourmet food booths and two live stages featuring local musicians. Along with over 200 booths is an eco-zone promoting recycled and sustainable products, services and educational displays.
San Francisco has set an environmentally responsible precedent and the Union Street Festival, with it's eco-urban theme helps promote Green thinking. Festival participants travel from near and far to attend this great city event. Attendees of the festival are asked to use public transportation due to the lack of street parking in the neighborhood. The Union Street Festival is free and open to the public. For more information regarding specific vendors or entertainers please see www.unionstreetfestival.com.
