San Francisco's Taste of the Bay to be Held on October 21st

Students of the hospitality program at San Francisco State University have joined forces with the Hospitality and Tourism Management Program to host Taste of the Bay 2009, which will be held on October 21st aboard the Belle, at the San Francisco Pier. This event, which is a fundraiser for hospitality and management scholarships, features food and wine from the following Bay Area institutions, among others: Luce, Paragon, One Market, Mumm Napa, and Kenwood.

Taste of the Bay provides a rare opportunity for residents and tourists to experience many of the areas premiere restaurants, wineries and breweries while enjoying a view of the bay. Tickets cost $125, and $100 for each additional ticket. The event begins at 6pm and will include culinary work by Bay Area chefs, wine tastings, live entertainment, raffles and auctions. Cancellations or changes must be made 72 hours before trip departure to get partial refund, or at least 8 days in advance if the reservation includes hotel accommodation. Airport shuttle transfers and Alcatraz Tours are non-refundable. Cancellations and changes are subject to a 10% or $25 fee, whichever is greater. As a courtesy to your fellow passengers, it’s important to be on time. If you are late or miss your scheduled pickup time for the tour please contact our office immediately at 415-357-0700. An alternative pick up location may be arranged at customer expense, subject to availability. Any guest who misses their tour entirely will forfeit their seat on the tour. No refunds will be issued.
