This October, SF Open Studios allows you to enjoy 5 weekends of art in different San Francisco neighborhoods. The Preview Gala, the opening event for the tour, occurred on October 3rd and featured work by over 400 participating artists. The first weekend of the art tour, October 10th and 11th, will take place in the following neighborhoods: Bernal Heights, Castro, Duboce, Eureka Valley, Glen Park, Mission, Noe Valley and Portola. The studios open at 11:00 am and close at 6:00 pm each day of the tour. On display will be work by feature artists Marie Bourget, Brian McDonald, Ninig Muir and Katie Gilmartin.

The second week of SF Open Studios will take place in Buena Vista, Diamond Heights, Fort Mason, Haight-Ashbury, Hayes Valley and Marina neighborhoods among others. The artists that will be featured are: Fernando Reyes, Javier Chalini, Noah Dasho, Barbara Kleinhans, Philip Dvorak and Philippe Jestin. Week three will take place in the Financial District, North Beach, Portrero Hill, Russian Hill, SOMA, Tenderloin, Bayview and Excelsior.
