San Francisco high school students from the Galileo High School enrolled in the Academy of Hospitality and Tourism there have produced eight audio walking tours of San Francisco as seen through the eyes of teenagers. The audio profiles are intended to offer teen tourists as well as local kids, insight into some of the wonderful sightseeing attractions in San Francisco as well as experiences that might not been so obvious, but in the kids’ eyes, they are what make San Francisco such a great place to experience whether you live in the city or are a visitor.
The eight audio pieces are meant to appeal to teenagers because the audio tours come from the perspective of teenagers and offer a range of teen interest tours: Coffee Lovers, Hayes Valley Hidden Gems, Seafood Tour of Fisherman’s Wharf, Golden Gate Park Scenery, Desserts, Family Fun, A Dainty Fling, and Live like a True San Franciscan. All eight of the audio tours, as well as accompanying maps pertaining to those audio tours, can be heard at the website of the San Francisco Convention and Visitors Bureau as well as the website of the Galileo High School.
