The Green Festival, a collaboration between Global Exchange and Green America, will take place in San Francisco from November 13-15. This year promises to be an improvement of last year's event, which consisted of over 150 speakers and 400 green businesses. The first San Francisco Green Festival took place in 2002 and only featured 50 speakers.

The Green Festival aims to promote the creation of a sustainable community by promoting lifestyles, products and services that are environmentally friendly. The Festival will feature: over 125 authors, leaders and educators, how-to workshops, children's activities, organic beer and wine, films and live music. The Festival also has a marketplace where over 350 green businesses will be selling everything from natural body care products to organic cottons and Fair Trade gifts. Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. Cancellations or changes must be made 72 hours before trip departure to get partial refund, or at least 8 days in advance if the reservation includes hotel accommodation. Airport shuttle transfers and Alcatraz Tours are non-refundable. Cancellations and changes are subject to a 10% or $25 fee, whichever is greater. As a courtesy to your fellow passengers, it’s important to be on time. If you are late or miss your scheduled pickup time for the tour please contact our office immediately at 415-357-0700. An alternative pick up location may be arranged at customer expense, subject to availability. Any guest who misses their tour entirely will forfeit their seat on the tour. No refunds will be issued.
