SF Green Drinks is a brand new volunteer run networking event held the first Tuesday of every month at 111 Minna Gallery in San Francisco. This networking event is open to any socially-conscious professional involved in the green business sector in the Bay Area interested in meeting other environmentally conscious business people and organizations. Professionals from renewable energy, conservation groups, media, clean technology, utilities, organic foods and hundreds more attend the monthly SF Green Drinks event. The green focused event is staffed by volunteers that act as greeters and connectors which mingle with guests and start pertinent business oriented conversations. Although San Francisco is rife with networking events, this event is a very unique volunteer run gathering.
Each event is usually sponsored by two organizations who help with funding and provide drinks. During the event the sponsor organizations are offered a brief interlude session where they are able to speak directly to the guests regarding their organization. From green businesses, non-profits or community organizations all businesses are invited to become an SF Green Drinks sponsor organization. After the brief discussions with the sponsor organizations the networking resumes set to the music of local musicians and DJs.
