Introductory Wine Class Held in San Francisco

The CAV Wine Bar and Kitchen located at 1666 Market Street in San Francisco will be offering an Introduction to Wine Class for city residents and tourists. The class is geared toward wine enthusiasts who are interested in expanding their wine knowledge, vocabulary and palate. CAV is a well known restaurant and wine bar in San Francisco popular for a menu that revolves around the wine list. Most San Franciscans have sampled both the wine and food of this sought after city establishment on numerous occasions.

The Introductory Wine Class will be held January 30th beginning at 2:00 pm and commencing at 4:00 pm. During the two hour class participants will learn about wine terminology and the components of wine as well as taste eight wines that demonstrate tannin, acidity, body and a variety of aromas and flavors. This class is perfect for out of town visitors interested in learning the basics of wine before taking a wine country tour. CAV classes are in high demand by both locals and tourists and because of this the CAV Wine Bar and Kitchen plans to hold more frequent classes to meet the need.
