The penthouse at the posh Fairmont hotel, located in downtown San Francisco, has housed many historical figures including JFK, Prince Charles and Representatives of the Big Four as they penned the United Nations charter in 1945. In the near future, this penthouse could house you- for a mere $15,000 a night. The penthouse has been under construction for the past few months as it is cleaned, polished and brought up to date. It will reopen this month with a wedding celebration for the members of two prominent wine families.
The extravagant suite consists of the entire eighth floor and includes three bedrooms with baths, a formal dining room, a living room, a library, and a balcony with a view of the San Francisco Bay. Additionally, the suite guests have a butler, housekeeper, chef, masseuse, personal trainer and a Ferrari California at their disposal. The kitchen is fully stocked and the library has two floors, featuring a ceiling with gold-leaf constellations.
