San Francisco's Golden Gate Bride

Each year the San Francisco Zoo celebrates the holiday season with a special treat for their animals and guests. Animal keepers and zoo staff create holiday themed treats for the animals in the form of colorfully wrapped gift boxes, zoocicles which are frozen treats, snowmen, ice towers and more. This time of year, referred to as Winter Goes Wild at the Zoo is packed full of fun for the whole family.

Winter treats and toys are given to the animals each weekend beginning December 11th through January 1st. Zoo guests even have a chance to help make treats with the zookeepers on December 19th and reservations are required. The San Francisco Zoo is located near Ocean Beach in Golden Gate Park.
