San Francisco nightlife has never been as exciting as the 'Nightlife' events hosted at the California Academy of Sciences located in Golden Gate Park. The Cal Academy's weekly event is a perfect introduction to the newly built, state of the art building along with the vast array of collections, specimens and plant life that inhabit it. During the event city tourists and residents will have a chance to explore the Academy, mingle over cocktails and listen to live music.
The next nightlife event will be held July 9 from 6:00pm to 10:00pm and will feature Future Universal, a collective of electronic DJs, artists and promoters. While perusing the upstairs East Pavilion the electronic dance beats of Mario Muse, Sarah Delush , Kirin Rider and LLeGG can be heard. Meanwhile downstairs a mellow, ambient melody can be enjoyed by Kid Hack and Matt Haegen which will guide a guest through the Academy's famous Aquarium.
This is one of the California Academy's most popular events and is a perfect end to a night tour. 'Nightlife' tickets can be purchased online or at the door for $10.00 while Academy member tickets are available for $8.00. The entrance doors close at 9:00pm and appetizers and drinks are available for purchase. For more information about the California Academy of Sciences events please visit www.calacademy.org.
