New Airship Ride Offers Amazing Bay Area Views

Airship Ventures began air tours over the San Francisco Bay Area late last year with the hope of broadening their tour range in the next 2-3 years. San Francisco tourists have been chartering a zeppelin, an airship 15 feet longer than a Boeing 747, owned by Airship Ventures and berthed at Moffet Field.

Airship Ventures offers sightseeing of some of the Bay Area’s most popular tourists attractions including Monterey Bay, Golden Gate Park, Union Square and Ocean Beach. Tourists can also experience a 180-degree view of the bay while sitting in the cabin, which can hold up to 10 passengers plus the flight crew. Airport shuttle transfers and Alcatraz Tours are non-refundable. Cancellations and changes are subject to a 10% or $25 fee, whichever is greater.
