We had the opportunity to meet some really great people because the tour was smaller and intimate. Our driver was fun and very interactive with us.

Muir Woods was beautiful and would have preferred a little more time there. However, there were lots of wineries to visit and Anthony managed to ensure we visited all of them. Anthony was very knowledgeable and pleasant plus as a treat he provided us with a spectacular view on our return to San Francisco. Our Hotel, the Argonaut, was unable to book a Woods and Wine tour for us so thank you very much Extranomical.

Anthony was absolutely fabulous. He made this tour a fantastic experience. He had plenty of information about the woods and the wine country and was also funny, charming and simply fabulous. I recommend this tour and company to anyone.

Roman made the tour memorable. He was knowledgeable, funny and was a skilled driver. We loved the morning visit to Muir Woods. It was great to beat the crowds. The wineries were inconsistent. At Mayo, the host shared some information along with the sales pitch. It was a good, quick stop. It was great to visit the square in Sonoma for lunch. We went to the Bistro Grille as recommended by our guide and while the service was slow, the food was delicious. We stopped at the Mission and walked through the tree filled park. Our stop at Cline's was the most successful. The wine was delicious and the hosts took time to discuss the varieties of grape and the wine making process. It was fun to sit back and relax on their giant wrap around porch. We should have stayed on the bus during the Madonna winery stop. We were stuffed into the tasting room there with a shrill, high pitched vocal fry host who started hard selling the 'special' wine opener seconds upon arrival. There was minimal wine education here. Thank goodness we finished the tour with Cline's. It was lovely to stop to take in the panoramic Golden Gate bridge view on the way back to the city. Many thanks again to Roman for navigating all the holiday weekend traffic and keeping the day moving.

Would have preferred more time to explore the redwoods and less time at the small wineries.
