Strict Quality Control

Our quality control supervises three sources that you, interact with during your tour from San Francisco: 1) Our reservations staff is diverse and we count in any given day with people who speak 5-6 different languages; they have all been on our tours to experience them first hand and we always have a manager on duty 7 days a week. 2) Our tour guides are extensively trained on both safety driving techniques and are evaluated and financially compensated based on the customer tour reviews. 3) Our vehicles are frequently inspected by our drivers, mechanics and the California Highway Patrol to ensure they are in top mechanical shape.

We conduct customer satisfaction surveys daily and our guides are financially compensated based on your feedback after the tour. On average our tours have over a 90% customer satisfaction rating! The few tours that we subcontract, we only use partners with whom we have established relationships for many years and trust the safety and quality of their service.

Vehicle Safety Inspection

Safety is paramount in our industry and one of the biggest safety components in the tours we provide are our vehicles. Extranomical's fleet includes vans and mini-buses. Our vehicles are inspected constantly; first in the morning when the tour guide begins his/her day; second throughout the day the tour guide is verifying fluid levels, tire pressure and the general operation of the vehicle is monitored throughout the day. The vehicles are also inspected regularly (at least every 10,000) miles by our vehicle maintenance staff and also by independent certified mechanics during their routine maintenance. If that were not all, we also go through a thorough inspection performed by the California Highway Patrol once a year.

Yosemite Bus Tour Description

Back to Top

Yosemite One-Day Tour by Bus. Our 1-day Yosemite bus tour from San Francisco is a great option to see this spectacular park with a bit more comfort and a relaxed schedule. On this Yosemite National Park tour we take a little time to stop along the way in the agricultural region of the San Joaquin Valley. Our Yosemite buses hold about 45 passengers, and offer individual seats making this an easy day trip to enjoy the Yosemite Valley. Once arriving in Yosemite National Park you will hear a narrated tour of Yosemite Valley with a stop at Inspiration Point (Tunnel View), followed by an extended stop at the Yosemite Valley, where you have two or more hours to relax, have a hot meal, take an additional tour (seasonal), or stroll to out to the meadows or Yosemite Falls. In winter, the itinerary is basically the same, but there are even more waterfalls to photograph, and the scenery is just as beautiful, if not more so. Just wear shoes with good traction in case the trails are slippery.

* DURING WINTER MONTHS *
Yosemite is open all winter. For safety reasons, itinerary may vary due to snow depth and driving conditions.
Winter clothes, especially shoes or boots with rubber soles and treads, are recommended.
Note: There is no Giant Sequoias hike when touring Yosemite by Bus.
