Yosemite Bus Tour Description

Yosemite One-Day Tour by Bus. Our 1-day Yosemite bus tour from San Francisco is a great option to see this spectacular park with a bit more comfort and a relaxed schedule. On this Yosemite National Park tour we take a little time to stop along the way in the agricultural region of the San Joaquin Valley. Our Yosemite buses hold about 45 passengers, and offer individual seats making this an easy day trip to enjoy the Yosemite Valley. Once arriving in Yosemite National Park you will hear a narrated tour of Yosemite Valley with a stop at Inspiration Point (Tunnel View), followed by an extended stop at the Yosemite Valley, where you have two or more hours to relax, have a hot meal, take an additional tour (seasonal), or stroll through the meadows and visit Yosemite Falls. In winter, the itinerary is basically the same, but there are even more waterfalls to photograph, and the scenery is just as beautiful, if not more so. Just wear shoes with good traction in case the trails are slippery.

Yosemite Bus Tour Itinerary

Yosemite Bus One Day Tour - Times Approximate

6:20 - 7:00 AM	Pick-up at hotel located in either downtown San Francisco or Fisherman's Wharf.
7:00 - 9:00 AM	Depart San Francisco and cross the San Joaquin Valley
9:00 AM	Break for breakfast (cost not included).
9:30 - 11:30 AM	Start climbing the foothills of the Sierras and enter Yosemite National Park.
11:30 - 12:30 PM	Yosemite Introduction Narrated Tour
12:30 - 3:00 PM	Explore Yosemite National Park on your own. Take a free shuttle to one of Yosemites famous sights. You can see most of the Yosemite Valley including El Capitan, Yosemite Falls and Half Dome.
3:00 - 3:45 PM	Meet the bus and head back to San Francisco.
6:00 PM	Stop for dinner (cost not included).
9:30 - 10:00 PM	Drop off at hotel located in either downtown San Francisco or Fisherman's Wharf.

Strict Quality Control: Our quality control supervises three sources that you interact with during your tour: 1) Our reservations staff is diverse and we count in any given day with people who speak 5-6 different languages; they have all been on our tours to experience them first hand and we always have a manager on duty 7 days a week. 2) Our tour guides are extensively trained on both safety driving techniques and are evaluated and financially compensated based on the customer tour reviews. 3) Our vehicles are frequently inspected by our drivers, mechanics and the California Highway Patrol to ensure they are in top mechanical shape.
Vehicle Safety Inspection: Safety is paramount in our industry and one of the biggest safety components in the tours we provide are our vehicles. Extranomical's fleet includes vans and mini-buses. Our vehicles are inspected constantly; first in the morning when the tour guide begins his/her day; second throughout the day the tour guide is verifying fluid levels, tire pressure and the general operation of the vehicle is monitored throughout the day. The vehicles are also inspected regularly (at least every 10,000) miles by our vehicle maintenance staff and also by independent certified mechanics during their routine maintenance. If that were not all, we also go through a thorough inspection performed by the California Highway Patrol once a year.
Tour Guide Training & Substance Abuse Testing: Our tour guides are extensively trained on both safety driving techniques and on providing an informative and interesting tour. Before being hired, we test our guides on safety driving in realistic situations around San Francisco they are also tested through an oral presentation of the material they will present to make sure that they provide a safe, knowledgeable and interesting tour.
