Our 1-day Yosemite bus tour from San Francisco is a great option to see this spectacular National Park, located 215 miles southeast of San Francisco. This Yosemite National Park tour is a bit more relaxed; we take a little more time by adding extra rest stops along the way in the agricultural region of the San Joaquin Valley. Our Yosemite buses hold about 45-50 passengers and offer individual seats, making this an easy day trip to enjoy the Yosemite Valley. Some of the beautiful attractions include Half-Dome, El Capitan, Bridalveil Falls, Three Brothers, Sentinel Rock, and more.

Once arriving in Yosemite National Park, you will hear a narrated tour of Yosemite Valley with a stop at Inspiration Point (Tunnel View), followed by an extended stop in the Yosemite Valley, where you have about two hours to relax, eat lunch, take an additional tour (seasonal), or stroll through the meadows and visit Yosemite Falls. In the winter, the itinerary is basically the same, but there are even more waterfalls to discover, and the scenery is just as beautiful. Make sure to wear shoes with good traction in case the trails are slippery during the winter.

For a smaller group tour and a more unique tour experience, check out our Total Yosemite Experience here.

Yosemite is open all winter. For safety reasons, itinerary may vary due to snow depth and driving conditions.
Winter clothes, especially shoes or boots with rubber soles and treads, are recommended.
Note: There is no Giant Sequoias hike when touring Yosemite by Bus.

Yosemite One Day Bus Tour
– Todd O. on 10/12/2015

Our tour guide was fantastic. His knowledge of the area was exceptional and he frequently stopped at places for a quick photo stop which gave us some beautiful opportunities for pictures. The climb over the mountains was spectacular and the guide handled the treacherous roads with ease. The pick-up/drop-off was on time right at our hotel.
– Meg/Alex S. on 09/27/2015

Excellent tour
– Zhangxin W. on 04/11/2015

To begin with, our tour guide Lars is knowledgable, considerate, kind, and always energetic. We are really appreciated to have him as our tour guide. Secondly, sunny Yosemite after snow is like a heaven on earth. We really enjoy the time in the valley and in front of the Yosemite fall. Thanks a lot
– Amelia M. on 04/03/2015

Then park is wonderful, worth the trip to it.
– marion c. on 06/14/2014

Fabulous scenery. Informative commentary. Some delays, minor, but Probably impacted upon time available for walking around. Not guide's fault. Final stop for night view of sf & bay bridge Was stunning & a perfect end to a brilliant day.
– Derek S. on 06/30/2013

Marc was great. Very informative! I would never have seen everything or learned 1/10 of what I now know without an informed driver/guide.
– Barbara B. on 05/20/2013

Andy was an amazing tour guide. He went over and beyond the call of duty to inform us not only of the history of Yosemite, but of everything and everywhere we went. Andy is thorough, articulate, passionate and absolutely a wonderful guide in every way you can imagine. Gracious, authentic, extremely knowledgable and very intelligent, personable and he has a great sense of humor. What more could you ask for? He really enriched this entire experience.
– laura c. on 05/30/2012

The stop at El Capiton and Bridal veil falls was so beautiful. The tour was very well organized and I met some very interesting and kind people on this tour. Ben was funny and very informative. He kept us on schedule which is not easy to do with a bus full of different people.(As I am sure you are well aware of) It was a wonderful day and Ben was a big part in making it a great memory. Thanks Ben, Becky, and Laura, the gals from Chicago, on the Sunday before Memorial day.
