Wine Country Bus Tour to Sonoma and Napa Valley

Wine Country Bus Tour

Wine Country One-Day Tours by Bus. Our Wine Country Tour by Bus starts approximately at 9 AM and after crossing the Golden Gate Bridge. It will take about an hour to enter the beautiful Sonoma Valley, where California’s wine industry began in the 1850’s. The tour will visit a total of 3 wineries located in Sonoma Valley and Napa Valley (tasting fees are included at the three winery stops, but not at Vintage 1870). One winery specializes in organic wines, and the other in Zinfandels, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. For lunch, your tour may visit Vintage 1870 in Yountville, located in the old Groezinger Winery building with restaurants and shops where you can buy locally produced olive oil, cheese, etc., and they also have a wine tasting cellar! Or instead, we may stop at the Historical Sonoma Square in Sonoma Valley, where you can do some shopping as well.

After the lunch stop at Yountville, named after George Yount who planted the first grapes in Napa Valley, we will visit another winery. Your Wine Country Bus Tour will return to San Francisco with great views of San Francisco's beautiful downtown skyline and the Golden Gate Bridge.  Hotel drop-offs will usually be between 5:30 and 6:00 pm.

Muir woods was amazing. I don't drink wine, but this tour was great, learned a lot of new information. My daughter enjoyed the wine tastings and my husband was impressed with the vineyards. The tour was something for all of us and no one was bored.

What an amazing tour! Andy was fantastic. He was witty, kind, and very knowledgeable about the area. He took the time to get to know each of us to better understand our wine tour expectations. We visited a nice variety of wineries and found a little something for everyone. I will highly recommend this tour to any friends visiting the San Francisco area. Very nice job!
