Make your way to the Wax Museum weekdays from 10:00 AM and from 9:00 AM on the weekends. The Wax Museum at Fisherman’s Wharf sparkles with 250 of your favorite stars, in 50 custom designed settings, enhanced by dramatic lighting and realistic costumes and props. This 100,000 square foot entertainment complex also houses an exciting variety of state-of-the-art retail, dining and entertainment venues, such as the Rainforest Café, a unique themed restaurant featuring giant aquariums and a two-story indoor waterfall.

On our City Insider’s with Wax museum Tour, we combine your visit to the Wax Museum with the ultimate San Francisco City Tour! Spend up to 4-5 hours exploring San Francisco’s wonderful sites, such as the Golden Gate Bridge, Oakland Bay Bridge, Golden Gate Park, Ocean beach, the Market Street Cable Cars, Lombard Street, Coit Tower, Twin Peaks, Fisherman’s Wharf, the home of the San Francisco Giants Baseball Stadium, Candlestick Park, and this is just to name a few. Vehicle Safety Inspection: Safety is paramount in our industry and one of the biggest safety components in the tours we provide are our vehicles. Extranomical's fleet includes vans and mini-buses. Our vehicles are inspected constantly; first in the morning when the tour guide begins his/her day; second throughout the day the tour guide is verifying fluid levels, tire pressure and the general operation of the vehicle is monitored throughout the day. The vehicles are also inspected regularly (at least every 10,000) miles by our vehicle maintenance staff and also by independent certified mechanics during their routine maintenance. If that were not all, we also go through a thorough inspection performed by the California Highway Patrol once a year.
Tour Guide Training & Substance Abuse Testing: Our tour guides are extensively trained on both safety driving techniques and on providing an informative and interesting tour. Before being hired, we test our guides on safety driving in realistic situations around San Francisco they are also tested through an oral presentation of the material they will present to make sure that they provide a safe, knowledgeable and interesting tour.
