Our San Francisco City Insider's Morning Tour is given from a local perspective. It takes about 4 to 5 hours and it is "semi-private," which means that it is a smaller group so you can enjoy more stops and photo opportunities and spend more time at a favorite location on your tour. Get off the beaten path, explore the road less traveled and visit hidden locations. Some options include: Watching the surfers at Ocean Beach, visiting Golden Gate Park, taking in the view from Telegraph Hill, and visiting historic Fort Point in the shadow of the Golden Gate Bridge.

Your City Insider's Tour includes a ferry bay cruise ticket, where you will take the ferry from Sausalito to San Francisco after your city tour so you enjoy the beautiful San Francisco waterfront. Spend time to explore the unique seaside town of Sausalito and maybe have dinner there before you make your way back to San Francisco. Please check ferry departure times to make sure you catch the last departure back to the city.

7:45 - 8:00 AM	Pick up from hotels in Downtown San Francisco or Fisherman's Wharf area.
8:00 AM - 12:00 PM	Our San Francisco City Insider's Tour is given by a guide who has been around. Enjoy more stops and photo opportunities; discover hidden sights and unusual stories you can't get on the big bus. Go to the famous attractions such as the iconic Golden Gate Bridge or to the unique areas that only locals know!
12:00 PM	You will ride over the bridge and receive a complimentary drop off in Sausalito, where you get to spend the rest of the day in the seaside town full of boutique shops and art galleries. Please check ferry departure times to get back to San Francisco on your own.

Strict Quality Control: Our quality control supervises three sources that you interact with during your tour: 1) Our reservations staff is diverse and we count in any given day with people who speak 5-6 different languages; they have all been on our tours to experience them first hand and we always have a manager on duty 7 days a week. 2) Our tour guides are extensively trained on both safety driving techniques and are evaluated and financially compensated based on the customer tour reviews. 3) Our vehicles are frequently inspected by our drivers, mechanics and the California Highway Patrol to ensure they are in top mechanical shape.
Vehicle Safety Inspection: Safety is paramount in our industry and one of the biggest safety components in the tours we provide are our vehicles. Extranomical's fleet includes vans and mini-buses. Our vehicles are inspected constantly; first in the morning when the tour guide begins his/her day; second throughout the day the tour guide is verifying fluid levels, tire pressure and the general operation of the vehicle is monitored throughout the day. The vehicles are also inspected regularly (at least every 10,000) miles by our vehicle maintenance staff and also by independent certified mechanics during their routine maintenance. If that were not all, we also go through a thorough inspection performed by the California Highway Patrol once a year.
Tour Guide Training & Substance Abuse Testing: Our tour guides are extensively trained on both safety driving techniques and on providing an informative and interesting tour. Before being hired, we test our guides on safety driving in realistic situations around San Francisco they are also tested through an oral presentation of the material they will present to make sure that they provide a safe, knowledgeable and interesting tour.
