Our San Francisco and Sausalito Morning Tour makes nine tour stops in 5 hours, and ends with a ferry cruise. This San Francisco city tour is unique in that it offers a separate tour guide that takes you on short walks while the driver drives ahead to wait for the group. This gives you a little exercise (mostly level, or down hill, by the way), and a fresh perspective as you spend more time in parts of the city that deserve more time. You will meet at the famous Ferry Building at Market and Embarcadero at 8:45, where the bus picks you up and you begin the tour of San Francisco. Some of the stops include: a walk from Grace Cathedral down to the Cable Car Barn Museum, a short walk through Chinatown, Golden Gate Park and the de Young Museum or the Japanese Tea Garden, the Palace of Fine Arts, the Golden Gate Bridge, and beautiful Sausalito for lunch (price not included) and shopping. The tour concludes with a ferry ride (fare included) from Sausalito back to the famous Ferry Building, where you can look at the historic photographs or do some more shopping.

8:45 AM	Meet your guide at the front entrance of The Ferry Building facing Embarcadero street.
9:00 AM - 2:30 PM	Start your San Francisco bus and walking tour and see the Lombard Street, Grace Cathedral, Chinatown, Japanese Tea Garden, Golden Gate Park, Palace of Fine Arts. Then cross the Golden Gate Bridge, to beautiful Sausalito for lunch and shopping. Return on the ferry to the Ferry Building.

Vehicle Safety Inspection: Safety is paramount in our industry and one of the biggest safety components in the tours we provide are our vehicles. Extranomical's fleet includes vans and mini-buses. Our vehicles are inspected constantly; first in the morning when the tour guide begins his/her day; second throughout the day the tour guide is verifying fluid levels, tire pressure and the general operation of the vehicle is monitored throughout the day. The vehicles are also inspected regularly (at least every 10,000) miles by our vehicle maintenance staff and also by independent certified mechanics during their routine maintenance. If that were not all, we also go through a thorough inspection performed by the California Highway Patrol once a year.
Tour Guide Training & Substance Abuse Testing: Our tour guides are extensively trained on both safety driving techniques and on providing an informative and interesting tour. Before being hired, we test our guides on safety driving in realistic situations around San Francisco they are also tested through an oral presentation of the material they will present to make sure that they provide a safe, knowledgeable and interesting tour.
