TRANS AMERICA, remarkable structure in San Francisco

Our San Francisco and Sausalito Afternoon Tour starts with a bus trip to Sausalito. Later, back in San Francisco, your guide will take you on short walks while the bus driver drives ahead to wait for the group. This not only gives you a little exercise (mostly level, or downhill), but also a fresh perspective as your guide can take more time to point out certain parts of the city that deserve more than just a drive-by. Meet at the Ferry Building at Market and Embarcadero at 11:15 to meet your guide and start the bus trip to beautiful Sausalito for lunch (cost not included) and shopping (also not included in the price of the tour!). The bus picks you up again after lunch and you make your way back to San Francisco for the city part of the tour. Some of the sights you will see during that part of the tour are the Golden Gate Bridge, Golden Gate Park and the de Young Museum or the Japanese Tea Garden, the Palace of Fine Arts, Grace Cathedral, a walk through Chinatown, and then back to the Ferry building where it all began, just in time to have a nice dinner in one of the fine restaurants you will find there, if you so choose.

11:15 AM	Meet your guide at the front entrance of The Ferry Building facing Embarcadero street.
11:30 AM - 4:00 PM	Start off with a trip to Sausalito. The bus then takes you back to San Francisco for several short stops and/or walks to and around the Golden Gate Bridge, , Grace Cathedral, Chinatown, Japanese Tea Garden, Golden Gate Park, Palace of Fine Arts. Get dropped off at the Ferry Building.

Vehicle Safety Inspection: Safety is paramount in our industry and one of the biggest safety components in the tours we provide are our vehicles. Extranomical's fleet includes vans and mini-buses. Our vehicles are inspected constantly; first in the morning when the tour guide begins his/her day; second throughout the day the tour guide is verifying fluid levels, tire pressure and the general operation of the vehicle is monitored throughout the day. The vehicles are also inspected regularly (at least every 10,000) miles by our vehicle maintenance staff and also by independent certified mechanics during their routine maintenance. If that were not all, we also go through a thorough inspection performed by the California Highway Patrol once a year.
Tour Guide Training & Substance Abuse Testing: Our tour guides are extensively trained on both safety driving techniques and on providing an informative and interesting tour. Before being hired, we test our guides on safety driving in realistic situations around San Francisco they are also tested through an oral presentation of the material they will present to make sure that they provide a safe, knowledgeable and interesting tour.
