San Francisco River Rafting Tour

American Whitewater River Rafting Tour from San Francisco . Your voyage will begin on the exciting South Fork of the American River located in the Gold Country of Northern California.  It is regarded as one of the most popular White Water River Rafting destinations in the western United States and is situated a convenient distance from the San Francisco Bay Area. The South Fork of the American River is also quite rich in the Gold Rush history of the 1800’s. As you float down the upper stretch of the South Fork, you will notice the ditch running along the river. It provides water to the Coloma Valley. The trip will end near James Marshall Gold Discovery State Park and Sutter’s Mill which is the site that marked the beginning of the gold rush.

Get ready for the adventure of a lifetime. Once you arrive at the River Camp you will meet other people like yourself who really enjoy being outdoors and surrounded by the beauty of the Sierra Nevada Foothills. This is a place where you will be able to enjoy the camp and cool off in the swimming pool. If you still have energy after the River Rafting trip, you can play Volleyball or stroll down to James Marshall State Park.

This Class III River Rafting adventure is perfect for novices and youths as well as thrill-seekers. The South Fork is a great river for first-time river rafters and veterans alike. The America River South Fork is an exciting, challenging but not overwhelming River Rafting trip. Prior to your trip you will receive the safety instructions from the guide. This River Rafting Tour is a great way to experience an unforgettable escapade with your friends and family. Our tour includes the San Francisco Hotel pick-up and transportation to the River Camp on the South Fork of the American River. The thrill of 8-miles of Class III River Rafting and safety equipment is included. The trip includes a hearty lunch and cold beverages served at camp at the end of your River Rafting trip.
