Extranomical Gives Back

The team here in Extranomical Tours all have one thing in common: we want to make the world an Extranomical place! Below are just some of the efforts Extranomical Tours make to minimise our Carbon Footprint and to give back to the community.

Extranomical Tours Offset Their Vehicles

At Extranomical Tours, we know the importance of sustaining the beautiful environments that make our tours possible. Therefore, since 2009, Extranomical is proud to have a completely carbon neutral fleet of vehicles. Get more information on how Extranomical Tours offset our CO2 emissions and invest in Carbon-neutralizing projects.

Extranomical Tours’ Community Involvement

Igor Petreski

Most recently, Extranomical Tours has made a donation to support Igor Petreski. Igor is a 20 year-old college student from Macedonia. Whilst in Austin, Texas as part of the International Summer Work and Travel program, Igor suffered a severe Spinal Cord injury. Get more information on how to make a donation to support Igor’s rehabilitation.

Turkey Troops

The gang here at Extranomical LOVE Thanksgiving! And what better way to give thanks than to take part in a community outreach programme which provides Thanksgiving meals to the less fortunate? In November 2009, Extranomical Tours teamed up with local celebrity chef, Ryan Scott and the Turkey Troops. You may remember him from the show Top Chef! You can read all about the event here.

Below are just some of the photos from the Turkey Troops’ Thanksgiving:

Lost and Found Charity Event

Throughout the year, Extranomical Tours donates our unclaimed lost and found items to those of us who are less fortunate. You too can donate to by contacting your local thrift store, homeless shelter or soup kitchen.

Thomas House Temporary Shelter

Thomas House is a non-profit, temporary shelter available to homeless families of diverse cultural and religious backgrounds. Located in an apartment complex in Garden Grove, CA, the Thomas House Program assists families to become self-sufficient.

Extranomical donated tour tickets to be auctioned off at a fundraising event for the Thomas House. Thomas House relies on contributions and volunteers to continue their mission.  If interested in helping, you can find out more information here.
