American Whitewater River Rafting Tour from San Francisco. Your voyage will begin on the exciting South Fork of the American River located in the Gold Country of Northern California. It is regarded as one of the most popular White Water River Rafting destinations in the western United States and is situated a convenient distance from the San Francisco Bay Area. The South Fork of the American River is also quite rich in the Gold Rush history of the 1800’s. As you float down the upper stretch of the South Fork, you will notice the ditch running along the river. It provides water to the Coloma Valley. The trip will end near James Marshall Gold Discovery State Park and Sutter’s Mill which is the site that marked the beginning of the gold rush.
Get ready for the adventure of a lifetime. Once you arrive at the River Camp you will meet other people like yourself who really enjoy being outdoors and surrounded by the beauty of the Sierra Nevada Foothills. This is a place where you will be able to enjoy the camp and cool off in the swimming pool.
