We booked this tour along with our Muirwoods/Sausilito tour. Our tour guide was Frank. He promptly picked us up at our hotel. Even coming into the lobby area to find us. We had a full van of 13 guests. He made sure he knew everyone and introduced everyone to each other as they boarded the van. You can really tell Frank loves loves his job. He is a great talker of everything and knows so much. We knew this was going to be a long day, however Frank made sure we stopped at all the scenic spots and even taking some side areas to show us specific sites. He had recommendations on everything and let us spend more time in Carmel just because this area is more quaint and scenic. Frank made this tour very enjoyable and I would love to have him again some time.

tour was excellent but would have liked a stop at Silicon Valley to show we've been there

We had a great trip!! It was definitely worth the extra money to take the smaller tour. My wife and I were on our 16th anniversary trip and this trip more than met my expectations. Pam was a fantastic guide and she shared many interesting facts, both historical, location wise and personal along the way. We felt like a friend was giving us a tour. We were very happy and gave a very positive review on Trip Advisor as well.

The tour was greater than I expected and Lars was very passionate enough to explain us the history and other information of the winery country. I also went on his Yosemite tour, which I believe was also the best choice for me. I would definitely recommend Extranomical to my friends!

The tour itself was great. Our driver/guide, Anthony was AWESOME!!! He was funny and made the tour as great as it was. We spent a lot of time in the bus however which was tough. We were the first ones picked up and the last ones dropped off, so that, combined with the amount of time you spend on the bus for the tour, it made for a very long day. If there is any way to improve that, that would be my only suggestion.

The Muir Woods and wine coutnry tour was amazing! Though it lasts all day (7:45-5:30 or so), we had a great time. I went with my boyfriend for my 30th birthday celebration. The last hour or so we started ro get a bit tired, but it is well worth it all! This tour takes you to multiple tourist locations and what would normally be a 2 day tour, visiting the woods and then having everything set up for you during the tour is great. Though i had roughly 4 full days in San Fran, this was a great way for me to see some of the higlights in the area without me having to get a rental car. They pick you up from your hotel, and if where you are staying isnt listed in their pickup stops, you can easily take an uber to the nearest stop for you.i abosutely highly recommend the Muir Woods and Wine Country Tour!
